Our Story
AMA Builders is a family-owned company founded by three brothers and named after our mother, Angela Maria — the A from Angela and the MA from Maria. She is no longer with us, but the values she taught us — honesty, keeping our word, and doing things the right way — remain at the heart of how we work and build today.
Our journey into construction began as real estate investors. Before building for clients, we were finding land, developing our own projects, and hiring builders ourselves. Being on the other side of the process taught us what truly matters: protecting the investment, communicating clearly, paying attention to the details, and having a builder you can trust.
In 2019, we began managing the construction of our own projects, and that experience eventually grew into AMA Builders. In 2023, we earned our own Florida Certified Building Contractor license (CBC1266805), and today every project is built under our own license and supervision.
We build homes and investment properties throughout Florida with the same mindset we've had from the beginning: treat every project as if it were our own.

Meet the people bringing that vision to life.
Juan David Ángel brings a unique perspective to AMA Builders, shaped by years of experience across real estate, investing, and construction. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, he began his real estate career in 2011, later becoming a licensed real estate broker and eventually a licensed building contractor in Florida.
Before becoming a builder, Juan David experienced construction from the investor’s side — finding opportunities, evaluating properties, working with lenders and contractors, and developing projects alongside his brothers. That experience gave him a deep understanding of both the construction process and the business behind every project.
Today, as Co-Founder of AMA Builders, Juan David is closely involved in the company’s construction projects and growth, bringing together his experience as a builder, broker, and investor to help clients make informed decisions from the earliest stages of a project through construction.
Outside of work, Juan David enjoys running, hiking, traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors with his wife and their dogs.
Alejandro Ángel brings a strong technical and operational background to AMA Builders. A Chemical Engineer with Master’s degrees in Administrative Engineering and Materials Science, he spent 15 years in the corporate world in leadership roles across Research & Development, new product development, and production within the construction materials industry.
Throughout his career, Alejandro developed extensive experience in process optimization, continuous improvement, and project management, applying methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
In 2015, he began investing in U.S. real estate alongside his brothers, first through property flips and later through new construction. That journey eventually led them to co-found AMA Builders.
Today, Alejandro brings together his engineering background, operational experience, and perspective as a real estate investor to help guide AMA Builders’ projects and operations.
Santiago Ángel brings a strong business and financial perspective to AMA Builders. With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and postgraduate studies in Project Management, he spent more than seven years in the corporate world working in finance and marketing for a global company.
That experience strengthened his background in financial management, planning, leadership, and project management — skills that now play an important role in AMA Builders’ operations and investment projects.
In 2015, Santiago began investing in U.S. real estate alongside his brothers, starting with residential renovations and property flips before moving into new construction. As the projects grew, so did his involvement in the financial and strategic side of the business, ultimately becoming one of the founding partners of AMA Builders.
Today, Santiago combines his business background, financial experience, and perspective as a real estate investor to support the planning, financial management, and execution of AMA Builders’ projects.
Vanessa Santander has been part of AMA Builders since the beginning, helping shape the company’s brand, marketing strategy, and sales efforts as the business has grown. She leads AMA’s marketing and digital presence, from brand positioning and content strategy to social media and client outreach.
A graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she studied Psychology and Business Administration, Vanessa has also been involved in real estate since 2012. Her background in both business and real estate, combined with her understanding of people and communication, brings a unique perspective to how AMA connects with clients and investors.
Today, Vanessa oversees sales and marketing for AMA Builders, with a focus on growing the brand, developing new business opportunities, and creating meaningful connections with homeowners and investors.
Outside of work, Vanessa loves traveling, discovering new places and cultures, hiking, reading, trying great food, and spending time with her husband and their dogs.
